Types of Web Pages

post2.jpgWeb pages display to the user electronic files contained within a Web server once it is requested by the user. The appearance of Web pages depends on how they were designed. Some Web pages are simple while others are complex with different types of media. There are two basic types of Web pages, static and dynamic.

Static Web pages are comprised of the same information in response to all requests made by all users. It is relatively easy to make and ideal for demonstrating the final look of a Web site. It is however difficult to maintain as the size gets larger. Dynamic Web pages provides an interactive experience for the user. Displayed contents change or update depending on the request or commands executed from the side of the user.
