When you are designing a website, remember that the destination is not a printed page, but a computer. The language is not linear text, but hypertext. Your job as a web page designer is to create web pages specifically for the computer screen. Because of this, you must consider the colors, fonts, and layout as to how they will appear in the screen. You must also think about weaving the appropriate association and links and the nonlinear nature of hypertext to the information. Give the users an option to follow the information path that they desire by providing them with appropriate links to their related topics. You have to make them feel comfortable at your site by making them aware of where they are and where they can go.
